Creating your love space: The Unspoken Power of Self-Love in Beauty

Great results begin with YOU! I say this regarding every aspect in life. When it comes to beauty however, I refer to your makeup space/vanity. I believe that creating the perfect makeup station makes the getting ready experience for a night out the best part of the night out (I'm sure you can agree). I personally enjoy the process of getting ready .. having an amazing playlist whilst using my favourite products. Having the 'everything shower' to then sit in my comfy robe infront of my mirror to completely transform into a more elevated enhanced version of myself.

PREPARING MENTALLY

Self-love is not a destination but a continuous journey of self-discovery and acceptance. It involves embracing our shadows, acknowledging our vulnerabilities, and treating ourselves with the same compassion we extend to others. By fostering a deep connection with ourselves, we build a solid foundation that withstands the storms of societal expectations and external judgments.

In the age of filters and airbrushing, it's essential to redefine beauty beyond the superficial. True beauty is not about conforming to impossible standards; it's about embracing our authentic selves. When we embark on the journey of self-love, we learn to appreciate the quirks, imperfections, and unique features that make us who we are.

Mental health is something that I like to keep incheck as much as I can. We sometimes put so much pressure on oursleves to be 'perfect' when in all honestly it all starts with ourselves. Learning to accept who we are (so cliche I know) its where is all starts. Think of it as a domino effect ... knock off one task and the rest will follow effortlessly. No one is saying it will be easy but once you psych yourself up and accomplish one thing it becomes almost addictive to want to keep elevating. I have experienced this first hand and WOW isit a great feeling and it quiet literally shows!!
